Jungle trek

Ready to go on a trek?!

Go in the rainforest with the guides of a local organisation as your guide.

You can choose to go for one day, half a day or even three days with overnight in a tent if you like. No trails, no paths, other then the ones for the plantations. When you go up higher into the mountains the rainforest is there for you to see, with magnificent giant trees, orchids (depending on the season) and - if you go in early - animals. Insects, birds, monkeys and so on can come on your path.

The trek will take you through quite rough terrain and is only for the very fit.

You can choose from the following options, all depending on your preference and physical condition.

The three day trek includes:

a hike through the rainforest
overnight in tents on the riverside
make your own bambooraft and go downstream
overnight in a local village
a hike back to your starting point

Participation

Who	physically strong people
When	on request, depending on the season
Duration	1 day: about 2 hours to 8 hours a 2 days - 1 night trek with overstay a 3 day - 2 night trek with overstay
Age	15 years and older for the one day trek 18 years and older for the two and three day trek
Number of participants	minimum 2 people for a day trek minimum of 6 people for a 3 day-2 night trek
