Red bike

Peng on her red bike Peng on her red bike

Peng is chronicly ill and thus she is one of the kids that are in Healt Care program of TCDF.

Peng is 14 years old, a beatiful girl with a beautiful smile and she is a very talented dancer. Many times she has given a classical Thai dance demonstration during the Saturday activities in our center.

She likes to be with TCDF and she is a ‘special volunteer’ who helps the staff with many things in the weekend. One of our staffmembers picked her up on the motorbike every weekend so that she can spent time with TCDF and her friends there.

Piam's got a job to do!

Piam with his 'hand'made Thailand card. Piam with his 'hand'made Thailand card.

Piam is 14 years old and he has Down Syndrome. Since this semester he is one of the students in our Special School. And he loves to be there.

Piam is a very sweet boy, who loves to hug everybody and he is a caring boy who is involved with all the other students and teachers.

This month Piam was very proud to participate in his first business/art project of the school: the TCDF Special School X-mas cards!

He and his friends first made many beautiful pictures and paintings. Some of the pictures are made by outlining the hand and fist of Nong Caffee (she is the smallest, her hand fits on the card). Then the ‘hands’ were changed in to an animal: an octopus, a chicken and even an elephant. These pictures where colored by all students. HAND-MADE!!!

Volunteer project Eco&Kids

Come and be a volunteer with us! Come and be a volunteer with us!

TCDF Eco-Logic wants to be self sustainable. That means that we have to work on our own farm. We have vegetable gardens, chicken, fish and a horse. It's a lot of work and our staff works full time to fight the weed, plants, harvest and take care of the animals. A lot of work and it's never finished.

We give visitors the possibilities to help us with this project. If you come and stay with us as a volunteer, you will not only experiencing the real Thailand (and not the touristy country you already might now), but you will also help us and the Thai Child Development Foundation to grow food. Food for all the students of our special school, our visitors and staff.
