TCDF Eco-Logic's restaurant

On this page you will find some more information about the volunteer work you can do as a host for TCDF Eco-Logic for a period of minimum 3 months or longer.

One of the dormitories.

You will work together with our Thai staff, on:

• Daily maintenance of the restaurant and area around the restaurant
• Welcoming new guests, visitors and volunteers
• Show visitors around the premises of TCDF
• Coordinate meals with our staff for our guests
• Inform visitors/guests on activities, transport and so on
• Organzie activities for visitors/guests
• Several administrational activities
• and so on  

You will work five days per week, 2 shifts per day (from 08.00 until 12.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00). You will have two free days per week, on Monday and Tuesday.

We expect a special commitment from our volunteers. But it will be worth it, this is what you get in return:

- A free place to stay and live (dormitory style) and three Thai meals per day.

- A beatiful place to live and work: in the middle of the nature, surrounded by mountains and rainforest..

- You’ll get to know Thailand, the people, culture and language in a way you will never experience when you are just traveling. Working as a volunteer is an ideal start of a trip trough Thailand, you will get a lot of knowledge and experience to enjoy the rest of your trip in Thailand differently.

- This is your change to give some back to the people and the country you’re traveling in, like the way the Thai do during your trip.

- A weekly work schedule, cooperation with our professional (Thai) staff, a lot of work and time outside in nature

Because we always have visitors (guests, volunteers) the work around our restaurant and guesthouse need to be done on a profesional level.

And if you are joining our team, you need to know that we do have some expectations on the way you participate.

Here are some things for you to consider:

1. An unconditional motivation and your time to support TCDF Eco-Logic and the work we do.
2. A minimum stay of three months.
3. The willingness to work motivated and with a big smile on your face during your working days.
4. A minimum age of 30 years.
5. A good sense of humor and enthusiasm to welcome culture differences and communication problems.
6. Take care of your ticket, your (TOURIST) visa and a good (travel) insurance.
7. Live and work together with an intercultural group of people.
8. Frustations and things that are not clear because of culture differences or language? Use your sense of humor to solve this!
9. Work wherever and whatever we need you the most!
10. Try to speak English all the time.
